What Is Seward Children’s Museum
and Who Is It For?
What is Seward Children’s Museum?
Seward Children’s Museum is a hands-on indoor play and discovery space for kids and families, located right in the heart of Seward, Alaska. We offer creative, screen-free activities designed to spark curiosity, imagination, and connection through open-ended play.
Who is the museum designed for?
The museum is best suited for children from crawling age up to around 10 years old. We’ve created spaces that engage toddlers, preschoolers, and early elementary-aged kids and their grown-ups!
What can kids do at the museum?
Kids can climb our rock wall, explore sea life in the touch tank room, experiment with pneumatic tubes, build in the construction room, role-play in the imagination room, light up the giant Lite-Brite, dive into STEM bins, and more. Our rotating exhibits encourage open-ended, imaginative play.
